You have 5+ years of experience in security engineering, with a strong background in designing secure architectures for complex distributed systems. Your expertise in authentication, authorization, and encryption allows you to effectively protect sensitive data and ensure the resilience of critical platforms. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including software and systems engineers, to embed security principles throughout the technology stack.

You possess a deep understanding of database assurance and have experience analyzing and hardening database and application components. Your ability to identify areas for improvement and contribute to the design of new defensive capabilities is a key asset in your role. You are proactive in your approach to security, always looking for ways to enhance the protection of critical workloads and sensitive information.

What you'll do

As a Senior Security Engineer at InterSystems, you will be responsible for securing product architecture by partnering with software and systems engineers to design and validate secure platform architectures. You will focus on implementing robust security measures across the InterSystems technology stack, ensuring that security is a horizontal function integrated into all aspects of product development.

You will analyze, test, and harden database and application components to protect critical workloads and sensitive data. Your role will involve identifying vulnerabilities and recommending improvements to enhance the security posture of the IRIS data platform. You will also collaborate with product managers and architects to ensure that security principles are embedded at every layer of the technology stack, contributing to the overall mission of protecting sensitive data and enabling trust in connected systems.
