What you'll do

As a Software Engineer at JumpCloud, you will be an individual contributor focused on delivering on product and technical roadmaps. Your primary responsibility will be to build and scale the core Asset & SaaS Management services, enabling customers to track, secure, and optimize their resources effectively. You will engage in hands-on development, focusing on designing new high-performance APIs and solving complex concurrency challenges.

You will ensure that the Go-based microservices you develop communicate efficiently via gRPC and can handle massive spikes in data ingestion. Your role will also involve participating heavily in design discussions, contributing high-quality code, and taking ownership of complex performance tuning and system observability initiatives. You will work closely with the Engineering Manager to align your contributions with the overall goals of the team and the company.
