As an Engineering Manager at Justworks, you will help build and oversee a team of software engineers while also being a player-coach. You are responsible for coordinating projects, setting priorities, and motivating engineers to create and maintain features for our customers.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead a team of engineers, guiding them through the development process while ensuring that projects are completed on time and meet quality standards. You will be involved in hands-on coding, providing technical leadership and support to your team. Your responsibilities will include setting clear objectives, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a collaborative environment where engineers can thrive. You will also work closely with other departments to align engineering efforts with company goals, ensuring that the products we build effectively solve HR issues for our clients.
