You are an experienced Engineering Manager with at least one year of experience managing a team, coaching them to achieve high performance, and navigating both successes and challenges. You have hands-on experience in developing APIs, agents, and LLMs, as well as data modeling and scaling distributed systems, allowing you to lead by example. You bring a customer-centric mindset, understanding that customer satisfaction is at the heart of building great products. You emphasize clear communication, documented planning, and regular, transparent feedback, ensuring your team is aligned and motivated.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead, mentor, and grow a team of high-performing engineers, fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation. You will architect and oversee the development of applications, APIs, and distributed systems, ensuring that the technical vision aligns with the company's mission. You will partner closely with the Director of Engineering and CTO to make key architectural and product decisions, driving the execution of your team's projects. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality products and services that address the needs of often overlooked communities in the light industrial labor market.
