Kabam is seeking a Senior Technical Artist for a 6-8 month contract to bridge the gap between artists and engineers in mobile game development. You'll work on developing art tools and creating VFX, requiring a strong technical and artistic background.

You have a strong technical background combined with a high artistic understanding, making you an ideal candidate for the Senior Technical Artist role at Kabam. Your adaptability allows you to tackle technical challenges, including developing art tools and establishing robust art pipelines. You are recognized as a vital link between artists and engineers, facilitating communication and understanding between the two groups. Your experience includes troubleshooting technical issues and helping others grow by teaching industry best practices. Desirable

Experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine is a plus, as is familiarity with VFX creation tools like Blender. A background in mobile game development will also enhance your candidacy, as you will be working on projects that push the boundaries of mobile gaming.

What you'll do

As a Senior Technical Artist at Kabam, you will play a crucial role in the development of our mobile games. You will collaborate closely with both artists and engineers to ensure that the artistic vision is realized while maintaining technical feasibility. Your responsibilities will include developing and optimizing art tools that streamline the workflow for artists, allowing them to focus on creativity rather than technical constraints. You will establish strong art pipelines that facilitate efficient collaboration and ensure that assets are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards. Troubleshooting technical issues will be a regular part of your role, requiring you to think critically and creatively to find solutions that work for the entire team. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior artists, sharing your knowledge and helping them grow in their careers.
