What you'll do

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Kalepa, you will lead the development of client integrations for our AI Underwriting Platform. Your role will involve designing and implementing robust APIs that facilitate seamless data exchange between our platform and client systems. You will collaborate with product managers to understand client requirements and translate them into technical specifications. You will also work closely with the engineering team to ensure that the integrations are scalable and maintainable. Your responsibilities will include conducting code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and participating in architectural discussions to improve our backend systems. You will be involved in performance tuning and optimization of existing services to enhance their efficiency and reliability. Additionally, you will contribute to the overall technical direction of the team, ensuring that we are leveraging best practices in software development and integration.
