Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or Engineering. With at least 2 years of work experience in analytics, you possess expert knowledge of SQL and experience with Python. Your deep understanding of statistical analysis and experimentation design allows you to apply common analytical techniques like regression and decision trees effectively. You have strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to convey complex data stories clearly. Your humble, collaborative can-do attitude, combined with a natural curiosity, drives your success in this role.
What you'll do
As a Data Scientist at Kikoff, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Data Engineering, Marketing, and Operations. Your primary responsibility will be to apply your technical skills and analytical mindset to help customers improve their financial security. You will use data to identify and solve product development's biggest challenges, shaping product development by quantifying new opportunities and setting goals. You will develop hypotheses and employ a diverse toolkit of rigorous analytical approaches, methodologies, and frameworks to test them. Your ability to communicate and influence will be crucial as you convince and influence your partners by telling clear data stories that drive decision-making.
