You have a strong background in software engineering with a focus on quality and testing frameworks — your experience includes leading teams and defining architectural visions for testing ecosystems. You are proficient in multiple programming languages, including Java and JavaScript, and have a solid understanding of CI/CD practices that ensure production readiness. You thrive in mentoring other engineers, sharing your expertise in quality engineering, and driving the evolution of testing frameworks.
You understand the importance of building sophisticated automation tools that empower engineers to ship code confidently and efficiently. Desirable
Experience with both backend and frontend testing frameworks is a plus, as is familiarity with various CI/CD tools. You may also have experience in architecting solutions that minimize Sev-1 incidents and enhance deployment processes.
What you'll do
As the Lead Software Engineer for the Test Frameworks and Tooling Team, you will define the long-term strategy for integration and end-to-end testing frameworks. Your role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that the testing ecosystem evolves in alignment with the company's goals. You will architect foundational tools that guarantee production readiness, enabling engineers to deploy with confidence.
You will mentor other engineers in the craft of quality engineering, helping them to develop their skills and understanding of best practices. Your responsibilities will include driving the technical roadmap, ensuring that the team adheres to repository standards, and implementing automated guardrails that enhance the overall quality of the software.
