Xometry is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to enhance supplier quality culture and support process improvement projects. You'll utilize quality tools like Lean and Six Sigma to resolve issues related to non-conformances. This role requires effective communication and prioritization skills.

Who you are
You have a strong background in quality assurance engineering, particularly within manufacturing environments. Your experience includes developing quality systems in compliance with AS9100 standards, and you thrive in fast-paced settings where you can lead process improvement initiatives. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to effectively prioritize tasks and navigate demanding situations. Your familiarity with quality tools such as Lean and Six Sigma allows you to tackle non-conformance issues efficiently. You are committed to enhancing supplier quality culture and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and objectives.
Desirable
Experience with quality management systems and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes will set you apart. Familiarity with supplier-related activities, including NCR, SCAR, and CAR management, is a plus. You are proactive in identifying areas for improvement and have a track record of successfully implementing quality programs.
What you'll do
As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Xometry, you will play a crucial role in supporting our rapid customer growth by developing and enhancing our quality systems. You will assist the Senior Director in implementing quality programs that align with corporate goals and AS9100 requirements. Your responsibilities will include leading or participating in process improvement projects aimed at enhancing supplier quality culture. You will utilize appropriate quality tools to resolve issues related to non-conformances and customer RMAs, ensuring timely administration of activities and records.
You will manage supplier-related NCR, SCAR, and CAR activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify quality issues and develop effective solutions. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and documentation related to quality assurance activities, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
