Who you are
You are a highly skilled R&D Operations Engineer with a robust blend of mechanical engineering principles and advanced machining expertise. You have hands-on experience in manufacturing operations leadership, and you thrive in a fast-paced R&D environment. Your ability to accelerate the development and iteration of groundbreaking projects sets you apart. You are comfortable owning the full lifecycle of prototype development, from CAD/CAM to final fabrication and assembly.
You possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and are adept at using tools like AutoCAD and SolidWorks to create detailed designs. Your experience in rapid prototyping allows you to quickly iterate on designs, ensuring that projects move forward efficiently. You are a proactive problem solver who enjoys tackling challenges and finding innovative solutions.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the rapid prototyping and internal manufacturing capabilities at Last Energy. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of prototype development, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to specification. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to refine designs and improve manufacturing processes. Your hands-on approach will be crucial in accelerating the development of our innovative projects.
You will also mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices in mechanical engineering and manufacturing operations.
