Overview

You are an R&D Engineer with a strong background in mechanical engineering and software development. You have experience in 3D printing technologies and enjoy tackling complex problems across multiple engineering disciplines. You possess a systems thinking mindset, allowing you to evaluate and improve existing processes effectively. You are comfortable performing experiments and using data to inform your engineering decisions. You are passionate about creating reliable and beautiful products that push the boundaries of technology.

What you'll do

In this role, you will create new 3D printing techniques, developing new printer architectures and validating changes in Galvo control. You will have the opportunity to investigate new technologies and contribute to the research and development of next-generation printers and materials. You will work closely with other engineering teams to ensure that the Formlabs printing process is maintained and improved. Your responsibilities will include evaluating current printer performance and identifying areas for enhancement. You will tackle complex and open-ended problems, using your engineering, physics, and experimentation skills to drive innovation.

What we offer
