You have a BS degree in a technical discipline and at least 3 years of relevant experience in digital design. Your background includes a strong understanding of RTL design and verification processes, and you are skilled in using formal tools and static checkers to ensure high-quality designs. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with architecture, circuit designers, and verification engineers to deliver exceptional results.

You are results-oriented and highly motivated, with a passion for tackling unsolved challenges. Your experience includes driving functional and code coverage, as well as timing closure for your designs. You have a keen eye for detail and are committed to ensuring bug-free first silicon through rigorous testing and validation.

Desirable

Experience in a fast-paced engineering environment is a plus, as is familiarity with silicon bring-up and performance characterization. What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for performing concept studies and providing direction regarding performance, gate count, and power for various digital designs. You will write detailed design specifications and test plans, ensuring alignment with architecture and circuit design requirements. Your contributions will include providing high-quality RTL descriptions, including assertions, for the design.

You will utilize formal tools and static checkers to guarantee RTL quality and support design verification to ensure a smooth transition to silicon. Your responsibilities will also encompass driving functional and code coverage, as well as achieving timing closure for your designs. You will play a critical role in supporting silicon bring-up, performance, and power characterization, ensuring that the final product meets Apple's high standards.
