Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, particularly in managing complex infrastructure systems. You excel at solving ambiguous problems and can break down intricate projects into executable tasks. Your technical leadership skills shine as you mentor junior engineers and drive technical alignment across teams.

You possess deep expertise in cloud environments, particularly with AWS and Azure, and have a solid understanding of on-premises infrastructure. You are adept at identifying technical debt and refactoring core infrastructure to enhance velocity and maintain quality standards.

What you'll do

As a Senior Platform Engineer at LendingTree, you will own problem spaces end-to-end, ensuring that you not only address individual features but also the broader project scope. You will architect subsystems while anticipating scale and potential failure modes, making informed technical tradeoffs between immediate and long-term business needs.

You will participate in an on-call rotation to support critical network infrastructure, ensuring that systems remain operational and efficient. Your role will involve designing and maintaining our hybrid cloud infrastructure, which spans both Azure and AWS environments, as well as on-premises setups.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to champion new techniques and drive infrastructure initiatives. Your responsibilities will include mentoring junior engineers, helping them grow in their careers while also contributing to the overall success of the infrastructure team.
