Platform Engineer • Senior

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. You possess proven experience in managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure, demonstrating a strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles. Your coding skills are strong in at least one language, ideally Golang or Python, and you are open to learning new technologies as needed. You are proactive and self-motivated, with a willingness to take initiatives and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

You have a solid understanding of cloud-native technologies and best practices, and you are comfortable participating in L3 on-call rotations and incident response processes. You enjoy mentoring and upskilling team members, sharing your knowledge of cloud infrastructure and automation tools. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders sets you apart.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design, build, and maintain highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code principles. You will automate infrastructure provisioning and management processes to ensure that all tools provided are self-service and maintainable at scale. Collaborating with development teams, you will ensure seamless application deployments and ongoing uptime, contributing to efforts that continuously improve platform reliability, security, and cost optimization.

You will participate in L3 on-call rotations, responding to incidents and ensuring that the platform remains operational. Your responsibilities will also include mentoring team members on cloud-native technologies and best practices, fostering a culture of learning and improvement within the team. You will be instrumental in driving initiatives that enhance the overall performance and efficiency of the cloud infrastructure, making it easier for developers and quant teams to focus on their core tasks without worrying about the underlying infrastructure.
