Who you are
You have proven working experience in public relations, showcasing a successful track record in designing and executing public relations campaigns at both local and national levels. Your strong relationships with business and industry media outlets enable you to effectively manage media inquiries and interview requests. You are comfortable acting as a company spokesperson, skilled in both broadcast and print media interviews, and possess exceptional writing and editing skills. Your solid experience with social media platforms, including blogs, Facebook, and Twitter, complements your event planning experience. A BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related discipline rounds out your qualifications.
What you'll do
In this role, you will develop a comprehensive marketing communications plan that includes strategy, goals, budget, and tactics. You will coordinate all public relations activities and direct the social media team to engage audiences across traditional and new media. Your responsibilities will include creating content for press releases, byline articles, and keynote presentations, while also monitoring, analyzing, and communicating PR results on a quarterly basis. You will evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising on an ongoing basis, building relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness. Maintaining a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients will be crucial as you make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategies.
