Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in designing and optimizing data pipelines. Your expertise in ETL processes allows you to efficiently manage data flows and ensure data quality across various platforms. You are proficient in Python and SQL, enabling you to manipulate and analyze large datasets effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making. Your curiosity and eagerness to learn help you stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in data engineering. You understand the importance of data governance and security, ensuring that data is handled responsibly and ethically.
Desirable
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP is a plus, as is familiarity with machine learning concepts. You may also have experience with data visualization tools, which can enhance your ability to communicate insights effectively. A background in working with diverse teams across different regions, such as Canada, the UK, and India, will help you navigate the global nature of Loopio's operations.
What you'll do
In this role, you will take ownership of building and optimizing data pipelines that support high-scale analytics for Loopio's internal teams and customers. You will act as a bridge between stakeholders, engineering teams, and researchers, driving progress on complex initiatives. Your responsibilities will include designing scalable data platforms that can handle increasing data volumes and ensuring that data is accessible and reliable for decision-making. You will collaborate closely with ML Engineers and Data Scientists to empower them with the data assets they need for their research and analysis activities.
