Who you are
You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Masterβs degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction, or a related architectural design field, with a graduation date between December 2026 and Summer 2027. You have a keen interest in architectural development and are eager to learn about the real estate industry from a tech company perspective. Your organizational skills are strong, allowing you to manage project files effectively, both digital and physical. You are motivated to collaborate with team members and contribute to the design process, showcasing your ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Desirable
Experience with 3D modeling software is a plus, as you will be collaborating with Architecture and Design Managers on various design projects. Familiarity with creating signage packages based on brand standards will also be beneficial. You are detail-oriented and have a passion for design, which will help you thrive in this internship.
What you'll do
As an Architecture Design Intern at Lyft, you will support the Real Estate Development team in various architectural tasks. Your responsibilities will include preparing specification books, which involves creating and organizing technical documents, including drawings and specifications that adhere to project standards. You will assist in maintaining project files, ensuring that all documentation is well-organized and accessible. You will partner with team members on conceptual floor plan and schematic design development for field locations, contributing your ideas and insights to the design process. Additionally, you will create signage packages that align with Lyft's brand standards, ensuring consistency across all projects. Your role will also involve collaborating with Architecture and Design Managers on 3D modeling of spaces, allowing you to gain hands-on experience in architectural design.
