Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and a CPA license is preferred. With over 3 years of experience in accounting, you have a strong background in revenue accounting, ideally within a high-growth technology environment. You are detail-oriented and possess excellent analytical skills, enabling you to manage complex financial data effectively. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including financial analytics and technical accounting, sets you apart as a valuable team member. You are eager to learn quickly and adapt to new processes, contributing to the overall efficiency of the accounting team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own key components of the monthly and quarterly close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis. You will partner with the financial analytics data team and other internal business partners to determine accounting requirements for new platform-related projects. Additionally, you will document current revenue accounting processes and lead the implementation of new products and processes, such as quote-to-cash cycle special projects. As the business grows, you will help scale and improve revenue systems, processes, and controls to reduce the duration of the accounting close. You will also assist in managing external audits, providing preparation and ongoing support to ensure compliance and accuracy.
