GoFundMe is hiring a Senior Revenue Accountant to lead the accounting strategy for GoFundMe Pro’s revenue systems. You'll work with Zuora Billing and RevPro to ensure compliance and accuracy in revenue recognition. This role requires expertise in revenue accounting and strong collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Finance teams.

Who you are
You have a strong background in revenue accounting, with a focus on ASC 606 compliance and experience with high-volume, multi-currency transactions. Your expertise in Zuora and RevPro allows you to effectively manage billing and revenue recognition processes. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with Product, Engineering, and Finance teams to design and implement scalable revenue systems.
You possess a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy, ensuring that all financial reporting is compliant and audit-ready. Your ability to translate complex product launches into compliant accounting treatments demonstrates your technical acumen and strategic thinking. You are proactive in driving automation and improving workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in revenue operations.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the accounting strategy for GoFundMe Pro’s revenue systems, taking ownership of Zuora Billing and RevPro. You will design scalable, SOX-ready workflows that support audit readiness and financial reporting excellence. Your responsibilities will include ensuring accuracy in revenue recognition and developing strong controls across transactions.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape how revenue is designed, billed, and recognized across the platform. Your role will involve anchoring the technical revenue accounting function, translating new product launches into compliant accounting treatments, and configuring Zuora to meet evolving business needs. You will also drive automation initiatives to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
