What you'll do

As a Software Engineer in Test at Lyft, you will own the quality aspects of personal projects and initiatives, fostering collaboration with multiple engineering teams to align efforts with strategic objectives. You will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining key test automation frameworks and tools that support the quality assurance process. Your contributions will include investing in test architecture and shared testing libraries, as well as addressing technical debt related to quality.

You will improve operational quality responsibilities, including release qualification and monitoring of test systems, ensuring that defects are handled efficiently. Your role will involve collaborating with QA and SET professionals to uphold Lyft's commitment to excellence in customer experiences across platforms. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and share your knowledge of best practices in quality engineering.
