Who you are

You have 5+ years of backend engineering experience, building scalable production systems that handle complex supply chain challenges. Your expertise in Java and Python allows you to develop high-performance APIs and backend services that are robust and efficient. You are familiar with cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and have experience implementing infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform and Ansible.

Your understanding of data streaming technologies such as Kafka and big data processing frameworks like Spark and Hadoop enables you to work effectively with large datasets and real-time data processing. You have a strong grasp of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, ensuring smooth deployment and integration of applications. Previous experience in the hospitality or travel industry is a plus, as it gives you insight into the unique challenges faced in these sectors.

What you'll do

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Lyric, you will be responsible for designing and implementing backend services that power our AI-driven supply chain platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop features that optimize supply chain operations, leveraging your technical expertise to solve complex problems. Your role will involve writing clean, maintainable code and participating in code reviews to uphold high standards of quality.

You will also work on integrating various data sources and ensuring that our systems can handle large volumes of transactions efficiently. Your contributions will directly impact the performance and scalability of our platform, enabling enterprises to make data-driven decisions. You will mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and helping them grow in their careers.
