You are comfortable engaging with customers to gather insights and feedback, which you use to drive improvements in service delivery.

You possess strong analytical skills and are adept at using data to inform decision-making — your ability to prioritize tasks and manage resources effectively ensures that your teams operate efficiently. You are also skilled in developing and implementing operating systems that support scalability and discipline within the organization.

Desirable

Experience in the single-family rental industry or a related field would be a plus — familiarity with HOA and tax operations can set you apart. You are also open to innovative approaches and are eager to leverage AI and data analytics to enhance operational processes.

What you'll do

As the VP of Operations Design & Strategy, you will lead the Operations team in defining and piloting systems that enable Mainstay to scale effectively — your role will involve overseeing the HOA and Tax business lines, ensuring that operational outcomes meet the company's strategic goals. You will be accountable for execution rigor and will prioritize projects that enhance operational reliability.

You will collaborate closely with various departments, including Product and Engineering, to ensure that customer experiences are seamlessly integrated into the company's operations — your insights will help shape how Mainstay delivers its services. You will also engage directly with customers to understand their needs and pain points, translating these insights into operational strategies that drive success.

Your responsibilities will include managing the operational performance of both business lines, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards — you will also be responsible for developing metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement. You will foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within your teams, encouraging innovative thinking and problem-solving.
