Who you are
You have 4+ years of experience at an Enterprise SaaS company, where you've successfully shipped at least one full product or a significant feature as the lead designer. Your strong presentation and collaboration skills enable you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, and you thrive in fast-paced and ambiguous environments. You are fluent in Figma and prototyping tools, allowing you to create compelling designs that resonate with users.
You understand the importance of user-centered design and have a knack for conducting user interviews to validate ideas and define key problems to solve. Your ability to prototype rapidly means you can bring concepts to life quickly, ensuring that the design process is both efficient and effective. You are passionate about creating elegant, intuitive solutions that drive real-world impact in healthcare.
What you'll do
As the Founding Product Designer at Mandolin, you will own the end-to-end product design process, shaping our design system, branding, and user experience. You will lead product discovery efforts, conducting user interviews and validating ideas with customers to ensure that the product meets their needs. Your role will involve creating a design and review process in collaboration with Engineering, guiding projects from ideation to delivery.
You will establish and evolve our design system across both web and internal tools, ensuring consistency and quality in all aspects of the product. Collaborating closely with the team, you will prioritize our product roadmap and shape the overall strategy, making sure that design considerations are integrated into every stage of product development.
