Who you are

You have 3+ years of QA or Software Engineering experience with a strong focus on testing — you've developed a keen eye for detail and understand the importance of quality in software development. Your hands-on experience with test automation has equipped you with the skills to create and maintain automated test frameworks that ensure product reliability.

You are familiar with executing comprehensive manual and automated testing across front-end, back-end, and integrations — your ability to perform exploratory testing allows you to identify edge cases and potential issues before they reach production. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with Engineering and Product teams to understand requirements and identify testing needs.

Your experience includes participating in regression testing, release validation, and bug triage processes — you are adept at documenting test cases, workflows, and quality procedures, contributing to the overall quality metrics tracking and reporting efforts of the team. You are comfortable in a startup environment, adapting to the fast-paced nature of the industry.

Desirable

You have experience with CI/CD pipelines and testing in automated deployment workflows — familiarity with regulated industries such as healthcare or fintech is a plus. Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or JavaScript enhances your ability to contribute to the team effectively. Experience testing distributed systems or microservices architectures is also beneficial, as is a background in testing AI-powered products or complex integrations.

What you'll do

In this role, you will execute comprehensive manual and automated testing across various platforms, ensuring that Mandolin's products meet the highest standards of reliability and security for healthcare customers. You will contribute to and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites, playing a crucial role in the overall quality assurance strategy.
