Who you are

You have a strong background in machine learning and experience working with large language models (LLMs) — you've successfully trained and deployed models that solve complex real-world problems. Your proficiency in Python and frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch allows you to build and customize models effectively. You understand the intricacies of natural language processing (NLP) and have a keen interest in advancing AI capabilities. You thrive in collaborative environments, working alongside researchers and engineers to push the boundaries of what's possible with AI. You are comfortable engaging with enterprise customers, understanding their needs, and translating those into technical solutions. You are committed to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest advancements in machine learning and AI technologies.

What you'll do

As a Member of Technical Staff, MLE at Cohere, you will work directly with enterprise customers to tackle challenging problems that push LLMs to their limits. You will rapidly understand customer domains and design custom LLM solutions that meet their specific needs. Your role involves training and customizing frontier models, leveraging Cohere's full stack, including CPT, post-training, retrieval, and agent integrations. You will also be responsible for model evaluations and applying state-of-the-art modeling techniques to enhance the capabilities of Cohere's foundation models. You will collaborate closely with a diverse team of researchers, engineers, and designers, contributing to the development of innovative AI solutions that drive value for customers. Your insights and techniques will directly influence the capabilities of our models, making a significant impact on the adoption of AI technologies.
