Overview

Mark43 is hiring a Manager of Sales Development to lead and scale their Sales Development function for the State, Local, and Education (SLED) market. You'll manage a team of Sales Development Representatives responsible for pipeline generation across public sector accounts. This role is remote and open to candidates in the U.S., Canada, and the UK.

You have a proven track record in sales development, ideally with experience in managing teams and driving pipeline growth. Your leadership skills enable you to inspire and motivate your team to achieve ambitious targets while fostering a collaborative environment. You understand the nuances of the public sector and are passionate about empowering communities through technology. You are adaptable and thrive in a remote work setting, ensuring that your team remains engaged and productive.

Desirable

Experience in the State, Local, and Education (SLED) market is a plus, as is familiarity with public safety agencies and their unique needs. You are data-driven and can leverage analytics to inform your strategies and decisions. A background in technology sales will help you communicate effectively with both your team and clients.

What you'll do

As the Manager of Sales Development, you will lead a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) focused on generating inbound and outbound leads for public sector accounts. You will develop and implement strategies to enhance the team's performance and ensure they meet their pipeline generation goals. Collaborating closely with marketing and sales teams, you will align efforts to maximize outreach and engagement with potential clients. You will also provide coaching and mentorship to your team, helping them develop their skills and advance their careers.
