Overview

Mercor is hiring a Growth Partnerships Lead to build and scale external partnerships from the ground up. You'll work at the intersection of business development and data strategy in San Francisco. This role requires strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in building partnerships from scratch — you've successfully identified opportunities and sourced partners in previous roles, demonstrating your ability to create value where none existed. Your experience spans business development, data strategy, and stakeholder management, allowing you to navigate complex environments with ease.

You thrive in autonomous roles and are comfortable taking initiative — you understand the importance of moving quickly and strategically to launch new partnership models. Your background includes working cross-functionally with legal and finance teams, ensuring that all aspects of partnerships are compliant and beneficial.

You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to effectively negotiate contracts and manage long-term relationships with partners. Your familiarity with compliance and data rights further enhances your ability to build trust and credibility in partnerships.

Desirable

Experience in the AI or tech industry is a plus, as it allows you to better understand the landscape and the needs of potential partners. A background in working with technical stakeholders will also be beneficial in this role.

What you'll do

As the Growth Partnerships Lead, you will be responsible for building and scaling Mercor's external partnerships from zero to one. This involves identifying potential partners, conducting outreach, and designing innovative partnership models that align with Mercor's mission. You will own the full lifecycle of partnerships, from initial contact to contract negotiation and ongoing relationship management.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams, including researchers and operators, to ensure that partnerships are aligned with the company's strategic goals. Your role will require you to be deeply strategic and intentionally scrappy, finding creative solutions to challenges as they arise.

You will also be tasked with analyzing the effectiveness of partnerships and making data-driven decisions to optimize outcomes. Your ability to manage multiple stakeholders and navigate complex negotiations will be crucial to your success in this role.

Mercor provides a competitive compensation package, including a generous equity grant vested over four years. If you are relocating to the Bay Area, you will receive a $20K relocation bonus, and if you live within 0.5 miles of the office, you will receive a $10K housing bonus.
