Job Description
Who you are
You have extensive experience in information security, particularly in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) — your background equips you to navigate complex regulatory environments and ensure compliance with laws such as GDPR and NIS2. You possess a blend of technical and business acumen, allowing you to effectively communicate security needs to both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Your proven communication skills enable you to collaborate with engineers, analysts, and legal teams — you understand the importance of building relationships across departments to drive security initiatives. You are motivated to learn and adapt in a rapidly changing environment, ensuring that Meta's cloud platforms remain secure and compliant.
You have a comprehensive understanding of cloud security principles and practices — your expertise allows you to provide guidance on securing cloud solutions while enabling business agility. You are detail-oriented and proactive in identifying potential risks and compliance gaps, ensuring that security measures are integrated into the development lifecycle.
Desirable
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus — familiarity with these environments enhances your ability to assess security risks effectively. A background in data protection and privacy regulations will further strengthen your capability to support Meta's compliance efforts.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead initiatives to enhance Meta's Cloud Security GRC capabilities — your primary responsibility will be to ensure that security measures align with compliance requirements. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with cloud solutions, ensuring that security is a priority in all projects.
You will conduct regular assessments of cloud security practices and compliance with applicable regulations — your insights will drive improvements and help shape security policies. You will also develop training materials and conduct workshops to educate teams on security best practices and compliance obligations.
Your role will involve monitoring changes in regulations and industry standards — you will be responsible for updating internal policies and procedures to reflect these changes. You will work with legal teams to ensure that Meta's cloud operations comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
You will play a critical role in incident response planning and execution — your expertise will help the organization respond effectively to security incidents and minimize their impact. You will also contribute to the development of metrics and reporting mechanisms to track compliance and security performance.
What we offer
Meta is committed to fostering a culture of security and compliance — you will be part of a team that values collaboration and continuous improvement. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, along with opportunities for professional growth and development. You will have the chance to work on impactful projects that enhance the security posture of Meta's cloud platforms, contributing to the safety of billions of users worldwide.
