Who you are
You have a strong background in large-scale infrastructure and hardware planning, with at least 5 years of experience in technical project management. You are comfortable working with servers, networks, and data center operations, and you thrive in cross-functional environments where collaboration is key. Your ability to think strategically while also managing the details makes you an ideal fit for this role. You have a proven track record of driving transformational planning initiatives and are skilled at presenting recommendations to executive leadership. You enjoy rolling up your sleeves and getting into the details of complex projects while also keeping an eye on the big picture.
Desirable
Experience in AI infrastructure planning or similar fields would be a plus, as would familiarity with investment decision-making processes in large organizations. A background in data center operations or capacity engineering would also be beneficial.
What you'll do
As a Data Center Planning Manager, you will be responsible for developing and leading strategic initiatives that align with Meta's goals for Artificial General Intelligence. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including capacity engineering, network engineering, and construction teams, to build a comprehensive roadmap for data center capacity. Your role will involve analyzing current infrastructure needs and forecasting future requirements to ensure that Meta's data center footprint can scale efficiently. You will also be accountable for driving investment decisions that cover billions of dollars, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to meet both current and future demands. Your ability to manage complex initiatives and challenge the status quo will be crucial in this role.
