Meta is hiring a Data Center Strategy & Planning Manager to develop infrastructure strategies and programs. You'll be responsible for driving investment decisions and scaling data center operations efficiently. This role requires strong strategic planning and project management skills.

Who you are

You have a strong background in strategic planning and operations management, with experience in developing infrastructure strategies for large-scale organizations. You are comfortable working with cross-functional teams and have a proven track record of driving transformational initiatives that align with business goals. Your ability to think both big picture and in detail allows you to manage complex projects effectively.

You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to influence and collaborate with various stakeholders, including executive leadership and engineering teams. You thrive in environments where you can roll up your sleeves and dive into the details while also maintaining a strategic outlook on the organization's growth and efficiency.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for building Meta’s global data center roadmap and developing end-to-end infrastructure scaling strategies. You will lead initiatives that drive efficiency in our infrastructure, ensuring that we meet the growing demands of our products and services. Your role will involve evaluating trade-offs and making investment decisions that cover billions of dollars, impacting the scalability of our data center footprint.

You will partner with various teams, including capacity engineering, network engineering, and site operations, to ensure that our data center strategies are aligned with operational needs. Your ability to project manage complex initiatives will be crucial as you take recommendations through to implementation, influencing partner teams to adopt new strategies and change the status quo.
