Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in hardware engineering, specifically in the design and development of manufacturing test systems. Your experience includes working closely with manufacturing partners and third-party integrators to ensure the successful deployment of test systems. You are detail-oriented and have a proven track record of driving the design, development, and validation of factory test systems for display and optical measurements.
You are self-driven and take ownership of your projects, ensuring that manufacturability and testability are prioritized in your designs. You understand the importance of creating standardized and reliable manufacturing equipment, and you have experience documenting new equipment and creating test plans for validating existing systems. Your ability to evaluate test equipment and qualification processes is a key asset in this role.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for driving the development and deployment of hardware test systems in collaboration with manufacturing partners. You will lead the design and validation of factory test systems, focusing on display panels and optical modules. Your work will involve defining the overall product test strategy and integrating test systems into existing data tracking networks and factory control systems.
You will also evaluate technologies and identify supply chain solutions that enable the AR/VR organization to deliver products to market at scale. Your expertise will help enforce manufacturability and testability, ensuring that designs are cost-effective for new product introduction (NPI) test development and sustaining production.
