Who you are

You have a strong background in manufacturing test engineering, particularly in developing and deploying hardware test systems. Your experience includes working with manufacturing partners and third-party integrators, ensuring that test equipment and automation systems are reliable and effective. You are self-driven and thrive in a cross-functional team environment, where you can apply your expertise to solve complex problems.

You are skilled in troubleshooting issues related to test equipment and automation systems, and you have a keen eye for detail when it comes to defining product test strategies. Your ability to evaluate test equipment and qualification processes is complemented by your experience in leading the integration of test systems into existing data tracking networks and factory control systems.

You prioritize standardization and reliability in your designs, and you are adept at creating comprehensive test plans for validating existing equipment. Your collaborative mindset allows you to work effectively with various stakeholders, ensuring that manufacturability and testability are enforced in all designs.

You are flexible and responsive, adapting to the needs of your team and the challenges that arise in a fast-paced environment. Your productive mindset drives you to seek innovative solutions that enhance the testing and automation processes.

Desirable

Experience with new product introduction (NPI) test development is a plus, as is familiarity with sustaining support for production-released test and automation systems. You may also have knowledge of industry standards and best practices in manufacturing test engineering.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for driving the development and deployment of hardware test systems in collaboration with manufacturing partners. You will troubleshoot issues on test equipment and automation systems, ensuring that they meet the required standards for performance and reliability. Your role will involve defining the overall product test strategy and evaluating test equipment and qualification processes to ensure they align with project goals.

You will lead and facilitate the integration of test systems into existing data tracking networks and factory control systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations. Your responsibilities will also include designing and documenting new manufacturing equipment, with a focus on standardization and reliability.

As part of your duties, you will create test plans for validating existing equipment, ensuring that all testing processes are efficient and effective. You will enforce manufacturability and testability in your designs, contributing to the overall success of the AR/VR products being developed by Meta.

Your role will require you to be responsive and flexible, adapting to the needs of the team and the challenges that arise in the manufacturing process.
