Your expertise allows you to navigate complex situations and provide executive decision support under pressure. You understand the importance of clear communication and cross-functional coordination, especially in high-stakes environments. Your ability to think strategically about policy risks related to geopolitical events is crucial for this role. You are comfortable working in a global team and can respond to issues across different regions and time zones. You thrive in dynamic situations and are committed to mitigating risks to both the company and the community.
What you'll do
As a Strategic Response Policy Manager at Meta, you will be responsible for managing crisis situations that require immediate attention and coordination across various teams. You will serve as a focal point for issues arising in the Americas region, ensuring that leadership is informed and supported in their decision-making processes. Your role will involve analyzing content-related risks and the impact of significant events, such as terrorist attacks or violent incidents, on the platform. You will work closely with the Content Policy team to help set Community Standards and Business Policies that govern content. Your ability to operate under significant time pressures will be essential as you help leadership make critical enforcement decisions. You will also participate in a global 24/7 on-call shift system, emphasizing the importance of responsiveness and accuracy in communications.
