Analytics Engineer • Mid-Level

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience as an analytics engineer, data analyst, data scientist, or data engineer, and you possess strong data modeling and integration skills. Your coding skills in SQL are extremely strong, allowing you to write complex queries and models, while your proficiency in Python enables you to develop object-oriented scripts that enhance data processing. You are fluent in expressing business processes through models and charts, making you an effective communicator within cross-functional teams.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with business users, designers, product managers, and engineers to derive insights from data. Your experience in B2B SaaS environments is a plus, as it equips you with the understanding of customer needs and business metrics. You are passionate about teaching others on your team to leverage data for decision-making, fostering a culture of self-service analytics.

Desirable

Experience with tools like dbt, Postgres, Redshift, and Fivetran will set you apart. Familiarity with dimensional modeling, data engineering, and data science concepts, including machine learning, is also beneficial. You are comfortable working in UTC-3 to UTC-8 time zones, which aligns with our team’s operational hours.

What you'll do

In this role, you will iteratively refine our data and build models that help the team understand our users better. You will organize datasets and perform complex transformations using SQL and Python, ensuring that data is accessible and actionable for all team members. Your ability to dig into data and answer critical questions will drive our analytics efforts forward.

You will collaborate daily with various stakeholders, including business users and product teams, to identify data needs and develop solutions that enhance our understanding of customer behavior. Your role will encompass a bit of everything from data ingestion to modeling, analysis, and storytelling, making you a key player in our operations team.
