Who you are
You have a strong background in data analysis and engineering, with experience in building scalable data platforms that integrate various data sources. Your proficiency in SQL and Python allows you to manipulate and analyze large datasets effectively, ensuring data accessibility and consistency across the organization. You understand the importance of data-driven decision-making and have a keen interest in machine learning and analytics. You thrive in a remote-first environment, demonstrating self-motivation and ownership in your work. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive insights that impact business growth.
Desirable
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker is a plus, as is familiarity with ETL processes and tools like dbt. You may also have experience with BigQuery or similar cloud data warehouses, which will help you in optimizing data storage and retrieval processes.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the development of Sardine's internal data platform, connecting and integrating various data sources to create a single, scalable system. You will work closely with product and business teams to understand their data needs and ensure that insights are readily available for decision-making. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing data pipelines, conducting data analysis, and creating visualizations that communicate findings effectively. You will also be involved in optimizing data processes and ensuring data quality across the organization. As a key player in the team, you will contribute to the overall mission of preventing fraud and enhancing AML compliance through data-driven strategies.
