What you'll do
As the Head of Machine Learning at Mimica, you will oversee a talented team of Machine Learning Engineers, including three Team Leaders. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the strategic direction of the ML team's projects, ensuring alignment with business and product goals. You will coordinate project dependencies, allocate resources effectively, and facilitate communication across teams to drive successful outcomes.
You will contribute to the architecture and development of our systems, leveraging your expertise to guide the team in implementing best practices and innovative solutions. Your role will involve regular collaboration with other departments to ensure that the ML initiatives are well-integrated into the overall company strategy.
You will also be responsible for fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within your team. By conducting regular code reviews and providing constructive feedback, you will help your engineers grow in their roles and enhance their technical skills. Your leadership will be crucial in creating an environment where team members feel empowered to take risks and experiment with new ideas.
