You have a solid background in engineering, particularly in designing and building large-scale systems that can efficiently handle high transaction volumes. Your experience includes developing APIs and services, ensuring they are robust and scalable. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders across the organization. Your creative problem-solving abilities allow you to tackle complex issues with a product-first approach, ensuring that the solutions you develop meet user needs.

You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy taking ownership of technical initiatives from architecture design to implementation. Your understanding of queuing, caching, concurrency, fault tolerance, and scalability is deep, and you are always looking for ways to enhance system performance and reliability. You are comfortable working in a diverse, English-speaking culture and appreciate the value of teamwork in achieving common goals.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and engineering systems that can scale to manage high volumes of transactions efficiently. You will work closely with other engineering teams to develop and maintain APIs and services that are integral to Mollie's payment processing and orchestration platform.
