What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the global accounting functions at MongoDB, overseeing the day-to-day management of the financial close process. You will support the corporate reporting team by ensuring that internal and external reporting is completed accurately and on time, adhering to US GAAP standards. Your expertise will be crucial in driving timely and accurate global statutory reporting and compliance, ensuring that all financial processes align with internal policies and external requirements.

You will establish and maintain strong internal controls, working closely with the Finance Systems team to enable process excellence and automation. Your leadership will help reduce technical process debt and improve the efficiency of accounting operations. You will actively manage your team, providing guidance and support to ensure that they deliver high-quality work and meet their professional goals.

As the key point of contact for auditors, you will drive the timely and accurate delivery of requests, ensuring that the audit process runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for producing accurate, timely, and useful management reports that inform decision-making at the highest levels of the company. Your role will also involve collaborating with other departments to ensure that accounting processes are integrated with the company's overall operations.
