What you'll do

As the Director of Engineering, you will lead the development of a world-class, open-source query engine designed for the document model. You will be responsible for the vision, experience, and architecture of data processing for the organization. Your role will involve managing a team of engineering managers and staff-level engineers, ensuring they are supported and challenged in their roles.

You will zoom in on deeply technical decisions while also focusing on team dynamics and growth. Your leadership will help shape the future of query languages, cost-based optimization, schema inference, and data federation. You will work closely with your team to tackle complex questions and drive innovation in the field.
