You possess deep expertise in MongoDB and have experience working with major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. You understand the intricacies of deploying and maintaining distributed systems and have a track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.

You are an excellent communicator and collaborator, able to work effectively with stakeholders across the organization. You enjoy mentoring and guiding team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth within your team.

Desirable

Experience with database-as-a-service offerings or similar cloud-based products is a plus. Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices will help you thrive in this role.

What you'll do

As a Lead Engineer, you will spearhead the development of foundational services and features for MongoDB Atlas. You will lead a team of motivated engineers, guiding them in their technical contributions and helping them grow in their careers. Your role will involve collaborating with product managers and other stakeholders to define the roadmap and prioritize features that enhance the Atlas Clusters platform.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing systems that enable the provisioning, updating, and maintenance of MongoDB clusters. This includes integrating new cloud provider capabilities and expanding Atlas into new regions. You will also work closely with customers and support engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring a seamless experience for users.

Your contributions will directly impact how customers run their workloads in the cloud, making this a pivotal role in the organization. You will have the opportunity to shape the future of MongoDB Atlas and influence the direction of the Atlas Clusters team.
