Who you are

You are currently pursuing a degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Analytics, or Computer Science. Your intellectual curiosity drives you to explore data and uncover insights that can influence product strategy. You have educational or professional experience working with databases and SQL, which allows you to manipulate and analyze data effectively. Your communication skills are excellent, enabling you to convey complex data insights in a clear and engaging manner. You have experience using Python or R, which you leverage to visualize data and tell compelling stories through your analyses. You are eager to learn new technologies and systems, demonstrating a proactive approach to your professional development. You are expected to graduate in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 and must be authorized to work in the United States.

Desirable

Experience with data visualization tools or techniques would be a plus, as it can enhance your ability to present data insights effectively. Familiarity with product management processes or frameworks can also be beneficial in understanding the broader context of your role within the team.

What you'll do

As a Product and Technology Analytics Intern at MongoDB, you will join the Product & Technology Analytics Team, acting as a thought partner to product managers and engineering leaders. Your primary responsibility will be to help quantify the drivers of product adoption, which involves analyzing customer usage patterns and identifying key inflection points in the customer journey. You will visualize key metrics that inform product strategy and assist in sizing product opportunities. Your analyses will derive actionable insights that support product managers and product marketing managers in growing their products’ customer base. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contributing to discussions that shape the direction of MongoDB's developer data platform. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, allowing you to apply your analytical skills to real-world challenges.
