Who you are
You have 2-5 years of professional software engineering experience, and you're comfortable working with modern programming languages such as Python, Go, or Rust. Your excellent communication skills and strong desire to solve complex technical problems make you a valuable team member. You thrive in collaborative environments and are detail-oriented, with a passion for developing usable software that enhances efficiency.
You have experience with modern infrastructure and delivery systems, including containerized applications and CI/CD tooling like Drone.io or similar. Your background may include building full-stack applications, from front-end UIs to backend API handlers and database migrations. Knowledge of technologies such as Next.js and FastAPI is a bonus, as it aligns with the projects you'll be working on.
What you'll do
As a Software Engineer at MongoDB, you will build and maintain internal tools and platforms that improve workflows and efficiency across the organization. Your role will involve writing clean, maintainable code to fix bugs and add new features, ensuring that the software you develop meets the needs of your coworkers. You will collaborate with other engineers and teams to design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade software that supports critical workflows.
You will be expected to contribute to the development of internal engineering projects, working alongside the Internal Engineering department. Your contributions will help level up TechOps and enhance the overall effectiveness of the team.
