Job Description
Who you are
You have 2+ years of professional experience building full-stack web applications — you've contributed to projects from technical design to delivery and understand the importance of collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. You are proficient in a modern compiled programming language such as Java, Go, C#, or C++, and you are eager to learn JavaScript and/or TypeScript along with modern frontend technologies like React and Redux. You exemplify leadership principles in your work and are committed to continuous learning and career growth.
Desirable
Experience with cloud-based services or database management systems is a plus, as is familiarity with security best practices in software development. You thrive in a diverse team environment and are excited about the challenge of keeping MongoDB Atlas secure while providing a best-in-class user experience.
What you'll do
As a Software Engineer 3 at MongoDB, you will lead medium-sized, full-stack projects from technical design to delivery, collaborating with colleagues at all stages of the project lifecycle. You will own the authentication and authorization features for MongoDB Atlas, ensuring that they are secure and user-friendly for a wide range of users, from startups to enterprises. You will work closely with internal engineers and external customers to gather requirements and design solutions that meet their needs. Your role will also involve mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the team's culture of learning and curiosity.
