Job Description
Who you are
You have 8 to 11 years of experience in a customer-facing role, with a strong background in pre-sales for enterprise software. Your technical expertise includes at least 3 years of experience with modern scripting languages such as Python and Node.js, as well as popular programming languages like C++, Java, and C#. You have a proven track record of designing scalable and highly available distributed systems, both in the cloud and on-premises, and you excel at reviewing complex architectures to provide actionable guidance to customers.
You are a seasoned technical sales professional who thrives in collaborative environments, working closely with sales executives to address customer needs and drive business forward. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner makes you a trusted advisor to a diverse range of clients, from startups to large enterprises. You are passionate about ensuring customer success and are committed to aligning technical solutions with business objectives.
Desirable
Experience with MongoDB's data platform is a plus, as is familiarity with cloud technologies and distributed systems. You are comfortable navigating technical discussions and can effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A background in software architecture or development will further enhance your ability to guide customers in their journey.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the design and implementation of reliable, scalable systems using MongoDB's data platform. You will collaborate with sales teams to identify customer needs and develop tailored solutions that address their unique challenges. Your expertise will be critical in winning deals and driving customer satisfaction, as you will play a key role in the pre-sales process.
You will conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase the capabilities of MongoDB's platform, helping customers understand how it can solve their business problems. Additionally, you will work closely with customers to review their existing architectures, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
