Who you are

You are a highly skilled Staff NetSuite Engineer with extensive experience in Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Record-to-Report (R2R) processes. You have a strong understanding of accounting best practices and can serve as the technical and functional bridge between Finance and Technology. Your expertise allows you to drive automation, process optimization, and scalability within the NetSuite environment. You have a proven track record of leading the design, enhancement, and support of accounting systems that power General Ledger (GL), R2R, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR). You are adept at collaborating with Finance, Accounting, and Audit teams to translate accounting policies into system-enforced controls within NetSuite.

You possess deep technical knowledge of NetSuite and are skilled in designing and implementing solutions that streamline accounting workflows. You ensure compliance and enhance financial reporting accuracy through your work. Your experience includes architecting scalable NetSuite solutions that integrate seamlessly with upstream and downstream systems, such as procurement, billing, and expense management. You are proficient in developing and maintaining SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk (Web Services), and RESTlets to support automation and integrations.

You have experience working in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple projects simultaneously. You are comfortable working with cross-functional teams and can effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Your ability to mentor junior engineers and share knowledge within your team is a valuable asset.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the design, configuration, and customization of NetSuite to support R2R and accounting processes, including GL, journals, allocations, consolidations, fixed assets, and intercompany eliminations. You will architect scalable NetSuite solutions that integrate with various systems, ensuring a seamless flow of information across departments. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, and RESTlets to automate processes and enhance system functionality.

You will partner with Finance, Accounting, and Audit teams to ensure that accounting policies are effectively translated into system-enforced controls within NetSuite. Acting as the primary point of contact for Finance teams, you will ensure that their needs are met and that the systems you design support their operations effectively. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise within the NetSuite environment, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
