You possess deep knowledge of database technologies, particularly MongoDB, and have experience in troubleshooting complex technical issues. You are adept at communicating with customers and advocating for their needs, ensuring that their concerns are addressed effectively. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to achieving outstanding customer satisfaction through a follow-the-sun support model.
Desirable
Experience in cloud technologies and support engineering is a plus. Familiarity with global distribution and replication of data to support high availability and low latency is highly desirable. You are also encouraged to have a background in training and developing team members, as well as maintaining industry awareness to keep your team at the forefront of technical knowledge.
What you'll do
As the Senior Manager of Technical Services Engineering, you will lead regional teams of MongoDB support engineers, ensuring they are equipped to diagnose and resolve performance-related issues effectively. You will advise on design and architecture, focusing on global distribution and replication of data to meet customer requirements. Your role will involve collaborating with peer teams globally to provide seamless handovers of follow-the-sun issues, ensuring that customer needs are met around the clock. You will also participate in training initiatives, helping your team grow their skills and maintain industry awareness. Your leadership will be crucial in advocating for customers, articulating business cases to drive issue resolution, and continuously improving the support processes.
What we offer
MongoDB offers a competitive salary range for this role in the U.S., between $140,000 and $275,000 USD, along with comprehensive benefits including parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, and mental health counseling.
