You have a strong background in marketing governance and compliance, with a proven track record of implementing effective controls and strategies. Your experience allows you to navigate complex regulatory environments while ensuring that marketing initiatives align with legal and risk requirements. You are a builder at heart, capable of executing day-to-day operations while also designing high-level strategies that can scale globally. You understand the importance of embedding regulatory compliance into the marketing process, ensuring that it is not an afterthought but a core component of every campaign.
You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to act as the operational bridge between marketing, legal, and risk teams. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple projects simultaneously. Your analytical mindset helps you assess risks and develop solutions that enhance the effectiveness of marketing efforts while maintaining compliance. You are passionate about creating a marketing engine that is not only effective but also rigorously compliant with regulations.
What you'll do
As the Marketing Governance Lead at Monzo, you will own the governance framework for marketing operations, ensuring that all campaigns are compliant with relevant regulations. You will work closely with legal and risk partners to streamline the review process, making sure that marketing initiatives are compliant from the outset. Your role will involve designing and implementing controls that enhance the efficiency of the marketing engine while ensuring that compliance is embedded in every aspect of the process.
You will lead efforts to centralize governance practices, transforming how marketing compliance is approached within the organization. This includes developing training materials and resources for the marketing team to ensure they understand compliance requirements and best practices. You will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting on compliance metrics, providing insights to senior leadership on the effectiveness of governance initiatives.
In addition, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement in marketing processes, ensuring that compliance does not hinder creativity or effectiveness. You will play a key role in shaping the future of Monzo's marketing strategy, ensuring that it is both innovative and compliant with regulations.
What we offer
Monzo offers a competitive salary range of £78,000 - £98,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
