Overview

MOO is hiring a Manufacturing Technician to prepare and configure machines for production and engineering trials. You'll collaborate with the Maintenance team to resolve setup-related issues. This role is based in East Providence, RI.

Who you are

As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be part of a dedicated team focused on ensuring that equipment and workflows are set up and maintained for optimal production. You have a keen eye for detail and are skilled in diagnosing and resolving issues that may arise during the setup of machinery. Your ability to work collaboratively with the Maintenance team will be crucial in maintaining production efficiency and reliability.

You understand the importance of equipment performance and are eager to contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and tooling. Your proactive approach will help in supporting the installation of new equipment and facility upgrades, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and consistently.

What you'll do

In this role, you will focus on preparing and configuring a range of machines for production and engineering trials. You will collaborate closely with the Maintenance team to diagnose and resolve setup-related issues that impact production. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that equipment, workflows, and processes are properly set up, maintained, and operated. You will also assist in managing equipment downtime and contribute to the training of team members based on equipment performance and modifications.

Your role will involve working hands-on with various machines, ensuring they are ready for production runs. You will be responsible for troubleshooting any issues that arise during the setup process and working with the Maintenance team to implement solutions. Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting the installation of new equipment and upgrades, helping to enhance the overall efficiency of the manufacturing process.
