Machine Learning Engineer • Intern

Who you are

You are currently enrolled in a Master's or PhD program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a similar technical field. You possess a strong background in Machine Learning research, demonstrated by publications in top-tier conferences such as RSS, ICRA, CoRL, CVPR, ICRL, ICML, or NeurIPS. Your proficiency in Python coding and experience with PyTorch or other deep learning frameworks make you a valuable addition to our team. You have a collaborative mindset and excel in working with other researchers and engineers, showcasing strong communication and interpersonal skills.

What you'll do

As a Machine Learning Intern at Motional, you will conduct research on driving behavior topics, focusing on future prediction, motion planning, agent simulation, and scenario generation. You will work with large-scale internal datasets to validate the effectiveness of your research and collaborate with various teams to deploy your findings into autonomous vehicles. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to publish your research results in papers and patents, contributing to the advancement of ML technologies aligned with Motional's core values of quality, scientific rigor, and innovation.

What we offer

This internship will take place in our Singapore office, with flexible working hours and the option for remote work. We expect a full-time commitment for at least 5 months, allowing you to immerse yourself in the research and development process.
