What you'll do

As the Principal Engineer, you will define and own the multi-year technical architecture and standards for the Developer Platform ecosystem. Your role will involve ensuring resilience, performance, and scalability across all internal tools and infrastructure. You will act as the technical decision-maker for complex architecture challenges, ensuring alignment across technical roadmaps and driving the technical vision for the Platform & Apps group.

You will champion engineering quality by architecting solutions that enforce technical standards and drive code quality. Your influence will extend across the organization as you provide expert-level consulting and conduct rigorous design reviews. You will work closely with other engineering teams to elevate their technical capabilities and ensure that best practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle.

In this role, you will also be responsible for mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing. You will introduce innovative practices that enhance the overall engineering process and contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's performance. Your leadership will be crucial in maximizing engineering velocity and effectiveness across the organization.
